Retainers cover agreed HR consultancy. Specialist assignments, extensive recruitment, training and other services outside the agreed scope are quoted separately. Teams under 10 employees are scoped individually. Fees are starting points and can be negotiated. One-time setup fees are always charged separately from monthly fees, and add-ons (for example recruitment, attendance devices, SMS or WhatsApp, payment or bank integrations, extra payroll groups or entities, custom reports, training and HR projects) are charged separately and quoted before work begins. We do not promise automatic compliance. You remain responsible for approvals and statutory decisions, and we make that clear from the start.
Compared with hiring in-house. A full-time HR officer commonly costs KES 30,000 to 50,000 a month in salary alone, before employer statutory contributions, leave cover, software and training. One Scorelian HR consultant supports several organisations, so you get a named HR adviser at a share of that cost: from KES 15,000 a month for up to 10 employees and from KES 35,000 for 26 to 50.
Choose your package
Three ways to buy HR support from Scorelian Business Solutions, depending on who runs payroll and what else you need, or one flat fee per employee.
Option A: HR advisory and payroll managed by Scorelian
We advise you and run your monthly payroll. You approve, we process, and statutory deductions are calculated and prepared for filing each month. You remain responsible for approvals. From KES 20,000 a month.
Option B: HR advisory, payroll run by you
A named HR adviser and practical support for people matters, while you keep payroll in-house or run it yourselves on Nexalia. From KES 15,000 a month. You can switch any time.
Option C: Complete People Package
HR advisory, payroll managed by Scorelian, recruitment for up to two roles in 12 months (billed as KES 1,700 a month) and Nexalia HCM Business (KES 250 per employee), in one monthly fee. From KES 22,950 a month. Executive and senior roles are not included and start from KES 50,000.
Prefer one flat fee per employee?
Managed People and Payroll is one fee per employee that includes HR support, payroll and Nexalia: KES 1,500 per employee a month for the first 25 employees, KES 1,200 to 1,600 each for 26 to 50 and KES 1,000 to 1,300 each for 51 to 100, depending on scope, with a KES 10,000 monthly minimum. Nexalia HCM is included in every package. A one-time setup fee from KES 10,000 is charged separately, and add-ons are charged separately. Larger teams are quoted.

Price: custom monthly quotation, based on employee count, HR support requirements and payroll complexity. We do not show a flat price because HR support and recruitment workloads vary. Indicative prices are subject to final approval and confirmation of delivery costs.
Recruitment: the number of assignments included in the monthly fee, if any, is stated in your quotation. Additional placements are charged separately unless otherwise agreed. Advertising, assessments and background checks are confirmed in advance. On-site visits, extra advisory hours and complex payroll or corrections are defined in the service agreement and may be charged separately.
